I have Palette 5.0 and I purchased some Baby Lock designs on a CD. When I try to bring them into my Palette I get an error message “can read file”, what am I doing wrong?

I have Palette 5.0 and I purchased some Baby Lock designs on a CD. When I try to bring them into my Palette I get an error message “can read file”, what am I doing wrong?

This indicates that you are trying to use a design that was created in a newer release [6.0 or higher] of Palette than what you are using so it can’t read the design. If you have Designer’s Gallery, you can open the design(s) in that program, and use the “On the Fly” feature to convert your design to a .pes file your Palette program can read.
