I have overdrafted my checking account and now have received a letter from a law office stating that they have been retained to collect the debt, I am wanting to know what will happen or if I will get time to pay off the debt?
Additional information I had an overdraft fee on my account. The bank put a freeze on my account stating that i have to contact the attorney( law office) in order for them to access my account. I want to know why they put a freeze on my account after had took there money from our account that we had owed them and my remaining balance. So know can I sue them for pain and suffering? Now I don’t have any money to pay my rent, Get items for my 2 year old daughter, No money to get nothing to eat, No money for transportation.
