I have not found any sources for a Watson Stabilators. Do you have any suggestions for Watson Stabilators, or (brace/clamp) parts for Watson Stabilators?
Thanks, Robert Muchness ANSWER: WATSON STABILATOR It takes time, Robert. You are doing the right thing. The hardest part (well, one of the hardest parts) about being in the restoration business is searching for parts. We hate to slow a project down because of a missing item, so I spend an awful lot of my time – and customer cost, searching. I have also learned that anything out there can be had, and in my hands tomorrow morning, if I want to pay for it. Sometimes I have to in order to meet a deadline. The main ingredients to successful parts searching are persistence and patience. You cannot always just watch for ads, you need to place WANTED ads. Hemmings, Franklin Website, Franklin Service Station to name a few. You can also search or advertise in the Deusenberg sections. The guy who sells the tags – Brian Joseph, likely has one – he is a Deusenberg restorer. You could call him. I would not be surprised if he had one, at a very high price.
