I have Norton Internet Security, How do I fix SQL Server does not exist or Access is Denied ?

Norton Internet Security employs a rule base firewall system. Though powerful, it is easily misconfigured. By simply dismissing a pop-up window when ServiceLedger originally runs, Norton Internet Security will disable the network features of ServiceLedger. It is best for Norton Internet Security users to simply use named pipes instead of TCP/IP for SQL server connections. This is due to lack of an interface to access program control. ServiceLedger suggests you follow: http://support.serviceledger.com/kb/Default.asp?ToDo=view&questId=2&catId=5 in Step 10, select Named Pipes. ServiceLedger must be freely allowed to communicate on TCP/UDP ports 1433 & 60901. If these ports are blocked, ServiceLedger will not function as designed. If you need to use TCP/IP please consult with Symantec or your Norton Internet Security users guide about altering this rule should you have dismissed the original window.
