I have just seen my librarys holding symbol attached to a WorldCat record for a book we do not own. How can this happen?
WorldCat.org by default shows the holdings for all records in the FRBRized workset. The “Libraries” tab displays symbols for all libraries represented for all items in the workset. To see library ownership information for a specific edition, display records using the “Editions” tab. You can double-check whether a library holds an exact edition from the FRBRized workset by selecting the “Just this Edition” link from the “Showing libraries that own:” line above the list of holding libraries.
