I have just moved to the Gold Coast to live. Where can I get a copy of my childs immunisation record?
Gold Coast City Council (Council) is a Local Authority and is one of several hundred vaccine service providers in the city. Council maintains records only of those vaccinations administered at its monthly clinics and during school programs. All vaccine providers report relevant data to the Queensland Health and / or Federal Government databases. Anyone requiring information on vaccines administered by other vaccine service providers in the city, intrastate, interstate or overseas must contact the original provider or Queensland Health Brisbane on (07) 3234 1500. Alternatively, you may contact the Australian Childhood Immunisation Register (ACIR). The Register was set up in 1996 to keep records of the vaccinations administered to children under the age of seven. If your child was born in 1996 or after, you may request a statement from them.
