I have installed MI Trains on my PC. What are the files in the MI Trains folder?
There are a number of files and folders within the MI Trains folder that serve to have MI Trains operate properly. Note that each of the files named below, contain their file name extension – the suffix which identifies a file type. On your PC, the extension may or may not appear, based upon your PC’s file folder settings. These settings are adjustable by you. There are two executable Programs: • mitrains.exe this is the actual MI Trains Program • mislides.exe this is the MI Trains Slide Show ProgramThere are two Databases: • mitrgd.mdb this is the Catalog & Price Guide Database • mitrin.mdb this is Your Inventory Database (And like all of Your important files, You should periodically back this file up to disk or CD) There is a Text File: • mi trains member read me.txt this file identifies You as the owner of MI Trains Software. Your Member Id Number is shown here, and is encrypted in a variety of places within other MI Trains filesThere will be a number of Report Files: • At any point
