I have heart disease. Is Thyrogen a safe test for me?
Although this question cannot be answered with 100% certainty, the cardiac effects of Thyrogen has been studied in 11 patients, with no adverse effects noted on EKG parameters or on cardiac function as assessed by echocardiography.
