There is a new KidDesk called KidDesk Internet Safe. This version is only available for Windows 95 machines at this time. The main purpose of this KidDesk is to protect children from the Internet. Teachers can set up KidDesk so children will only be able to access the teacher chosen sites.You must use Internet Explorer as your Internet browser while accessing web site through KidDesk Internet Safe. Listed below are some of the changes that have occurred with KidDesk Internet Safe. • The icons are different. They are more “cartoony” in looks and darker in color. • Three desktop accessories have been dropped: the notepad, the rolodex, and the calculator. • Adding and removing programs is different, but is similar to how programs are added on Windows 95.
