I have heard that pretend play is very important. How does Kindermusik use pretend play for the children aged 5 to 7 years?
Pretend play at this age is a very valuable activity. As they grow older they can become more inhibited so this it enables the child to “step outside” of themselves and act out movement or expression that they may not otherwise be seen. This also helps in reparation for performance of their skills.
