I have heard that IBM does not focus on the specific major requirements for the candidates. May I apply for the business unit which is not relevant to my education back ground?
Potential and personal capabilities are the most important factors to be considered when we are looking for an employee. Most of the R&D positions prefer some technical backgrounds; however, there are no strict criteria on the specialty as long as you can prove your capability to do the job. For GBS, business, economics, management, psychology, etc. are also welcomed.
