I have heard about this AlphaNumeric paging. What is it and how much does it cost?
AlphaNumeric paging is similar to regular paging, except that you can send words as well as numbers. It is a powerful tool that gives you many of the benefits of those very expensive truck mounted terminals, at a very low cost. Typically, you can expect to pay about $5 per month to rent the pager and about $15 per month for the service. There is a one time fee of $30 for the additional program that Truck and Driver uses to send the page.
