I have heard about opportunities to make gifts through IRA charitable rollovers. Can I do that with the KSU Foundation?
The recent passage of an economic stabilization plan gives friends and alumni of K-State a second-chance opportunity to make tax-free gifts from an IRA. The legislation includes a two-year extension of the IRA charitable rollover, which allows individuals who are at least 70½ years old to make tax-free cash gifts up to $100,000 directly from an IRA to charitable organizations, such as the KSU Foundation.
