A. The Village of Blume will promote the principles of sustainable development throughout all elements of the community. Homes at Blume will be 3rd party verified for sustainability and energy efficiency utilizing one or more accepted national programs (i.e. NC Healthy Built, Energy Star, Environments for Living, etc.) As a result of our commitment to sustainability, The Village of Blume has recently been designated a Charter Member of the International Sustainability Council and the horizontal elements including conservation of open space, buffering and protection of wildlife habitat will be certified through the Audubon Lifestyles organization.
