I have heard a lot about the Festival, and would like very much to attend as a musician. What is a typical day like?
All Festival participants stay at the Hotel Internazionale, and all classes are held at the Alexander Palace Hotel. For the entire ten days of the Festival, all participants take breakfast, lunch and dinner together at the Internazionale. The atmosphere is pleasant, congenial, and very collegial. After breakfast, musicians go to classes. Classes continue through the morning, after which everyone returns for lunch. There is an afternoon pause from one until four, when many musicians choose to practice, swim, or rest. At four in the afternoon, classes resume until seven in the evening, when dinner is served. Evening concerts begin at nine-thirty, and last approximately ninety minutes.
