I have had problems concieving, is birth control good to make me regular?
I agree with the women who say that it will not help you become pregnant. If you have an underlying hormonal disorder the pill is going to mask the problem. It is not going to correct it! Once you come off the pill you will find yourself in the same situation most likely. This is why PCOS is now being diagnosed in women in their 20s. PCOS usually starts a few years after a woman first gets her period. However, seeing as though many teens are on birth control they are unaware their period is irregular and only find out once they come off and their body’s hormones take over and things are out of whack. Irregular periods come from a hormonal disorder that disrupts ovulation. Most likely, if you go on the pill it is not going to put ovulation back on track. That is why there are drugs like Clomid.
