I have had a wisdom tooth coming through for over a year but its really hurting this last few days and every few months i get a sore gum which i think is an abbsess. do you think i need it out or is it normal?

Wisdom teeth take a long time to come through, and they do it gradually. Your gums hurt when these growing spurts are happening, hurt so much you can’t bear to chew on them, and it even hurts when you put your tongue there. I am not a dentist, I am only telling you my personal experiences, so my advice is to make an appointment with the dentist.
