I have failed the Part 1 resit – now what?
Unfortunately, the next ARTP Part 1 assessment will not be until the following year. Some universities will allow you to still prgress on to the 3rd year, others have different policies and may not. Please contact your course tutor for further advice. You may be asked to pay the examination fees if you have failed the resit – the initial examination fees paid by your university include an initial assessment and a resit if this is required. The ARTP will need to invoice your University for the cost of an additional examination. At present this costs £150.00. It is possible that your University may pass this extra cost onto you, so please seek advice from your course lead regarding this.
