A. You may upgrade your Lotus Domino Messaging Express licenses to Lotus Domino Collaboration Express. IBM offers in-family tradeup part numbers to make this easy and cost-effective. Tradeup pricing is generally lower than the difference between current prices of the existing and new licenses. Alternatively or additionally, you may consider adding Lotus Domino Utility Server Express licenses if you want to extend the reach of non-mail applications to people outside the community of users for whom you have paid the per user charge. The extended community may include people inside the company, external or both. If your existing users want to be able to access applications using their Lotus Notes client software instead of a Web browser, they would need to upgrade to Lotus Domino Collaboration Express.
