I have deleted my old SSL Certificate and can not install it anew. What should I do now?
SSL Certificate consists of two parts: Private Key (stored in your server only) and SSL Certificate body itself (this part is issued by the Certificate Authority). If the Private Key has been lost SSL Certificate can not be installed. If you are unable to locate the Private Key the SSL certificate should be reissued. To reissue GeoTrust SSL Certificate you should create new Certificate Signed Request (CSR) for exactly same domain name and contact GeoTrust at http://www.geotrust.com/customer_support/submit.htm, describe them that the Private Key has been lost and you need them to reissue the SSL Certificate to match newly generated Private Key. They will provide you with new SSL Certificate to install it in usual way. For GoDaddy SSL Certificate you should create new CSR for the same domain name and send it to MyPlesk.com support team, they will reissue SSL Certificate for you.
