When you delete emails from Outlook, it doesn’t actually delete them from its data file, Outlook.pst. You can do this by right-clicking on University Folders and clicking Advanced, then click on Compact Now. CAUTION: This operation can take several hours to complete for large mailboxes.

When you delete emails from Outlook, it doesn’t actually delete them from its data file, Outlook.pst. You can do this by right-clicking on University Folders, selecting ‘Properties for “University Folders”…’ from the menu and then clicking the ‘Advanced’ button followed by ‘Compact Now’. CAUTION: This operation can take several hours to complete for large mailboxes.
