A. Before choosing an injector you must first determine: -The line water pressure (5-140 psi, depending on model) -The water flow gallons/liters per minute of total flow into the injector. -To determine this, work backward from the nozzle, nipple, sprinkler head or other method of delivery in place. -Measure or calculate the flow rate for each nozzle, dripper, etc. -Multiply this by the number of nozzles, drippers, etc. that will be run at one time. This is your maximum flow rate. This rate should not exceed the rate specified for the model you are using. -The water source – city water, well, lake, etc. (this aids in filter set-up) -The diameter of water line feeding the injector: MicroDos models are standard with a thread -A12 & MiniDos models are standard with NPT & BSP male threads -A15, A20, A30, DP 20, and DP30 models are standard with either 5/8 hose or 1 NPT & BSP male threads. -The SuperDos 15, SuperDos 20, SuperDos 30, and the SuperDos 20IA are standard 1 NPT & BSP male thread
