I have Data Execution Prevention activated on my computer. What must I do in order to be able to install Alertsec Express?
Some computer manufacturers have recently introduced something called “Data Execution Prevention” on their new PCs. This application attempts to protect the BIOS on the PC from boot sector viruses. Protection against boot sector viruses is already included in the Alertsec Xpress software which results in the two systems being non-compatible. We recommend that you disable the “Data Execution Prevention” before installing Alertsec Xpress. You do this by entering the computer bios at startup (normally by pressing either Escape, F10 or F8 – depending on which PC brand you are using) and disabling the “Data Execution Prevention” setting under system settings.
