I have created a series of surfaces and then trying to apply uniform pressure (u.d.l.) to one side of these surfaces but in some surfaces it is directed in the wrong direction?

Check the Normal directions to these surfaces using the answer to Q3.2 above. The applied positive pressures are directed in the direction of the positive normal. Applying a negative pressure will be in the direction opposite to it.
