I have created a room and would like to know the square footage is. What is the fastest and easiest way to determine this?
ANSWER There are a couple of ways to determine the square footage of a room in Chief Architect. Perhaps the easiest is to specify a Room Type and allow the program to calculate its size automatically. If this method doesn’t suit your needs, you can instead use the create a room polyline, edit its shape as needed and determine its area.
