I have confirmation from the Wellcome Trust that I am an “approved user”. How may I access the data?
The data from WTCCC phase I (as published in Nature and Nature Genetics, 2007) are now available from the European Genotype Archive, http://www.ebi.ac.uk/ega. For further information, please contact ega-admin@ebi.ac.uk. The WTCCC data that are not in EGA are available from this web site. Getting access involves two stages. First you must create a web site account to enable login to the secure server. Secondly, your account needs to be activated to allow access to the data (please note that this is a currently a manual step). Send an e-mail to wtccc_admin@sanger.ac.uk to request this. There is no need to forward the approval letter from the CDAC.
