I have been using commercially available chemical fertilizers for many years and want to switch to an Organic alternative like Terra Foods, what can I expect from my turf when making this change?
When switching to an organic alternative like Terra Foods, you will first notice that our product is released into your soil slower than chemical fertilizer, thus delaying the onset of the lush green grass that you are expecting. However, if you stick to the program that we have laid out, you will have a much healthier lawn. It is also recommended when using organic products to mow your lawn on the highest setting possible preferably 4 inches or higher. The taller grass will help in reducing weeds by not giving them the needed sunlight and also in allowing the grass to produce more foods on the long blades of grass resulting in a healthier looking lawn in hot summertime conditions. It is also noted that to obtain proper growth of any plants or turf with any type of fertilizer you must properly water. Without water, no fertilizer or organic product can help plants grow.
