I have been migrated and when I went to type someones email address that I wanted to send a new email to, their email address didn automatically fill in as it did previously. What happened?
This function is called autofill. Microsoft Outlook stores email addresses of people you send email to in a file on your computer’s hard drive. The technician that is migrating your computer can restore that file once he migrates your old email and calendar information into Outlook. You just need to let the technician know that you want to keep the email address autofill file. However, many email addresses of people in the School of Dentistry in that file will not be correct anymore, as they most likely will have been migrated to Exchange. If you send an email to someone and the email gets “bounced back” to you with an error, that means that the email address in your autofill file is not correct anymore and you must delete that address from the file.
