I have been meaning to get involved in mentoring. Will SfN’s mentoring program be different under the new structure?

Mentoring is an example of an SfN program that will be expanded and enhanced under the new Professional Development Committee. The PDC will leverage the successful mentoring activities of the Committee on Diversity in Neuroscience and Committee on Women in Neuroscience to develop a stronger mentoring program that can better serve all SfN members, including our growing international membership. The committee will have access to greater internal and external partnerships and resources that can be tapped to develop a stronger mentoring program that supports effective and ongoing mentoring relationships.
