I have been involved in a Fish Fry, or a PTO bake sale, and/or other fund raisers as a volunteer before and helped “my” School, and/or “my” Parish. Will that event(s) stop?
Of course not (unless it is determined that the particular event no longer serves its purpose) – for, no matter what our size, location or needs, in the future, there will still be needs for various such fund raisers. And, we intend to continue/expand such activities to help us serve our people. We still will have Fish Fries, and other important fund raisers, to support the activities of the new School and the new Parishes, the real needs of families, and any particular needs of the various ministries of the newly formed CUP School, and/or newly formed CUP Parishes. We want the same activities to continue – they just will have a larger focus, and respond to the needs of a larger community. So, even in this year of transition of our Schools, we need to continue to sponsor such events in our present Schools. Next year, they will simply be expanded to support the larger School that we will be sharing. If someone feels, “why bother, since ‘my school/parish’ will no longer be the same”, we
