I have been asked to complete a “selection criteria”. What is that?
Most advertised vacancies across Australia and New Zealand require a candidate to answer their selection criteria. It is essential that you detail in your application how you fulfil each of the selection criteria for the position. The manner in which you do this will determine whether you are short listed by the Selection Committee. Your application should be a written response to the selection criteria. It is important that you state specifically how you meet the selection criteria and are able to give examples to support this. Your Recruitment Consultant will forward the selection criteria to you for each position and request that you complete and return it within a specific timeframe so a formal application can be made on your behalf.
