First let me say congrats on getting admission at UVM. After getting the admission papers from UVM, first thing you need to do is try to book a slot at your nearest American embassy for your visa interview. Make sure that you attend the interview well ahead of your joining date at UVM. Some times it may take long time to get your passport back with visa stamped on it after the interview.
