All students currently accepted into the UBC MD Program in August 2008 are encouraged to apply for the MD/PhD Program. No time has been lost since research does not start until the completion of Med I. At the same time, you should plan to identify the research question you want to address, select the discipline and affiliated graduate programs, as well as the research supervisor.
