I have auto-approval status, but I still sometimes get an email message from the robomoderator that a posting that I submitted has been forwarded to a human moderator. What’s up?
Certain posts are marked by the robomoderator for hand moderation, regardless of the poster. Although the moderators have decided, for a variety of reasons, not to reveal the precise criteria which are in use (and they change relatively frequently), the general intent is to catch subjects and threads which might lead to inappropriate posts, even from auto-approved posters. They are not particularly elaborate filters, however, and quite often generate false positives, which the assigned moderator then approves without a second thought.
