A student with a BS degree in an area other than Speech Pathology, yet who has taken the leveling courses, discussed in Prerequisites, is eligible to apply for our Summers-Only program only if he or she also meets our criterion of currently working in the field. Working in the field means that the applicant must be providing speech therapy, either as a bachelor-level therapist or as an SLP aide. The applicant is not eligible if he or she is working as a classroom teacher, special education teacher, counselor, etc.
