I have an overseas university qualification in architecture. Am I eligible to undertake the BWPrA?
It depends on the individual situation. You may undertake the BWPr A if your overseas qualifications are assessed as not equivalent or if you have been advised to undertake a top-up course in architecture. You don t need to undertake the BWPrA if Architects Accreditation Council of Australia has accepted your qualification as equivalent to the Australian qualifications. In this case you have completed the first stage on the process towards registration as an architect in NSW. See the Board s website for more information on the Architectural Practice Examination.
