If at any time during the academic year you receive a stipend or fee award from another source such as Graduate Division, your Department, or an outside agency, you must report that aid to the Financial Aid and Scholarships Office (FASO). If you become over-awarded, i.e., your total resources exceed your previously calculated financial need, your financial aid will need to be reduced. If this would present a significant hardship for you, you may discuss with the FASO the possibility of filing a Budget Appeal (to increase your Budget) to maintain or increase your eligibility for need-based aid.
