When buying an air purifier, consider the area or areas that you want to put it into. Those will be the area sizes you will need to use to compare models. Try to find an air purifier that is certified to clean more square footage than the area that you are putting it into. That will allow for the air to be cleaned faster and more often. A rule of thumb is that an air purifier should be certified to cover at least one-third more square
