The fundamentals learned in the Beginning through Advanced classes are your foundation to build upon in further study. Everything learned in the advanced levels require an extremely good understanding of the basics. It is vital to study under the same Master. This is because the information learned is most accurate and consistent. Feng Shui was passed down poetically and in its early days was not usually written down. People would hear about remedies and theories used and take them out of context.
