The autosomal STR marker systems used in DNA TribesĀ® Genetic Ancestry Analysis are standard forensic markers also used for paternity/maternity and other forensic DNA testing. The markers required for an Analysis Only are: D3S1358, TH01, D21S11, D18S51, D5S818, D13S317, D7S820, D16S539, CSF1PO, vWA, D8S1179, TPOX, FGA, Penta D, Penta E, D2S1338, D19S433, F13A1, F13B, FES/FPS, and LPL. If you already have these markers from a previous genetic test, you can order an Analysis Only without the need for further DNA processing.
