This error code will appear when there are more than one “cvoption.fil” files. The “cvoption.fil” file is where all the security codes are stored to run the Personal Designer software and options. For Personal Designer 5.x and 6.0, the “cvoption.fil” file is located in the “root” (c:\) directory only. For Personal Designer 6.1 and 6.5, the “cvoption.fil” file in located in the (c:\pd6\pd) directory. Rename or delete all “cvoption.fil” files which are NOT located in their correct directory.
