The whirlpool must be connected to a water heater and water pipes in which the temperature reaches at least 60 degrees Celsius up until the whirlpool taps. The bath must be filled with water from those taps. It should also be disinfected and have a chlorine level of at least 0.5 mg per liter (even when the whirlpool is filled with water of a temperature lower than 60 degrees Celsius). The pH-value must always remain within 6.8 and 7.8. As soon as the whirlpool is out of use it should be disinfected and the pH-value should be checked. For disinfecting the whirlpool you may use disinfectants and cleansing agents for pools, for sale at pool dealers etc.
