Yes! Blackboard will not ‘boot’ the student out of the exam even if they go over the time limit on a timed test. The student can finish the exam and their time will be recorded in the gradebook. An exclamation mark will appear in the grade column when a student has exceeded the time set for the exam. To view the amount of time it took a student to complete the exam: • Click on the “!” in the gradebook column • Click on View located on the top right side of the screen. The “Time Elapsed” will be listed at the top of the page. • To accept the exam, scroll to the bottom of the page, and click on Submit. • You will get a confirmation that the grade has been updated.
