I have a Special Employee’s licence (or Technician’s licence or Bingo Centre Employee’s licence), do I need to have a Gaming Industry Employee’s licence?
From 25 June 2005, the gaming industry employee’s licence replaces the special employee’s licence, technician’s licence and bingo centre employee’s licence. If you have a current special employee’s licence, a technician’s licence or a bingo centre employee’s licence from 25 June 2005 that licence is taken to be a gaming industry employee’s licence. You are not required to have an updated gaming industry employee’s licence. However, you may request one. A licence replacement fee will be applicable if you request an updated licence. Click the following link for Schedule of Fees and Fines for the current licence replacement fee. The duties that can be performed by you as a holder of any of the above licences or a gaming industry employee’s licence can be viewed from the following link (Duties of a Gaming Industry Employee).
