I have a son newbie bass player and am looking for a [prefrably black] Fender Jazz Bass. Any out there??
Stop at your local Guitar Center every now and again. I can GUARANTEE that within a month you’ll be able to audition at least a couple of different used MIM Jazz Basses. If you don’t like them, wait some more. They’ll sell those & get more. I know that many here don’t like GC. But truth told, they usually are very cool with me. If you pick the right time and are cool about everything, the salesmen & managers can be flexible on price for used items. If you don’t know what you’re doing and hook up with the wrong salesman though, you’re an instant target to be screwed.
