The PGA-04 or PDI-03 with the built-in load box is perfect for recording your tube amp head direct to the console. The PGA-05 can be used primarily with pre-amps to enhance the tone straight to the console. And although the PDI-09 is designed for guitar amps, you can also connect it to a pedal board (or preamp) for a great sounding DI straight to the console.
