First, is the problem with E/E or only on playback?? If E/E probably the tuner/audio processing circuits. If only in playback then probably the audio circuits specific to playing and possibly recording. If no audio is produced after recoding a video and then playing back possibly the record bias oscillator circuits. As you see, specific information would garner more specific info regarding your problems.
