I have a program that I’d like to use IPRental with. How do I configure them?
Programs typically will not communicate with one another unless specifically designed to do so. IPRental offers a couple of options. You could use the API, which I’ll describe in more detail below, or if you can change the port settings in your other program, you can utilize our OnBoard Proxy with Loopback feature, which is included in our desktop application. • Desktop Application: If you are a Premium IPRental member, you can use our OnBoard Proxy with loopback feature, which means you can set 127.0.0.1 as the IP, then use the 2 ports of 54420 and 54421 to loopback between these to get a new IP each time. If you are a Standard member, you can not use the loopback feature, but you can still use a single proxy port of 54420. Basically these features make IPRental function just like a traditional proxy service.
