Yes, private IP addresses are supported. You can either configure your ip address manually with an IE browser or the phone can automatically get an address if your network supports DHCP which is mostly the case. netCentz is set to DHCP by default, so it will be plug and play in most environments that is DHCP and have a simple firewall setting.
