I have a pony that is registered with an APSB recognised society. Can I register this pony with the APSB?
You need to be a member of the Society. The correct application form can be obtained from this website, your state branch secretary or the Registrar. Ensure that the society your pony is registered with is recognised with the APSB, e.g. the Welsh Pony & Cob Society of Australia, the Connemara Pony Breeders Society of Australasia etc. There are quite a few recognised societies and all are listed under Regulation 3.i. of the Society s Stud Book Regulations. Obtain the appropriate registration form to suit your pony from this website, your state branch secretary or the Registrar. Submit to the Registrar a photocopy of the registration papers from the recognised society, both front and back. The person submitting the application, must be the registered owner on the certificate. Please check your pony’s certificate carefully. If your pony is out of a Foundation Stock (FS) mare, please contact the Registrar to establish whether your pony is eligible to be registered in the APSB Stud Book. No
